We had one more certificate for the Chimneys. We went back tonight and it was pretty busy. Much different than last time. We had a new bartender this time. He was a little more outgoing but WAY less attentive. They were out of Bacardi, so he let me do the Mount Gay Rum for happy hour. My first time trying it and I was impressed. It was full of flavor and had a lot of depth and character for a rum. For our appetizer, we tried the Spinach and Artichoke Dip with Crab Meat. It was a good sized portion, served with toasted rounds of garlic bread. I liked it. We only had one appetizer, since we had more plans for the night. I really like this place. It reminds me of the nice restaurants we’re used to in Anchorage and Reno.
